Starion for sale

Post by bluestarion »

I might be interested in selling.
Car is mechanically excellent but the paint job is average.
Anyway lots of good work been done by John Keen (in Adelaide) multipoint, Autronic ECU, Koni suspension, water to air intercoooler etc....
JA 1984.
What price range are you working in?

for now I am working on about $3000 as i have seen others for around that price, I also have to factor in the transport and rego so i will make allowances depending on the car and where it is. I'm at uni these days so i have to get the money side right before i buy you see.

do you have pics of the car and other details about it..

Starion for sale

Post by bluestarion »

Hi Mate.
For $3000 I would not be interested in selling..
There are a few stazzas around for that price but if you are at Uni (and on a tight budget) I would strongly suggest you choose something else. At $3k would would be getting something pretty average and highly likely to require more than regular maintenance. Given the availability and price of spares.......
Anyway your choice.
I have included some pics anyway....

Yup it's a water to air intercooler. Really neat job by a local Tassie guy.
Where is the JB for sale? The ebay listing is gone...

I agree that JB is a steal for $3k.

do you have a full body pic of the car to see what it looks like?
The JB was in hobart aswell on the north shore, it is a great car but just a few things that need a little attention to be running much better, for instance it needed a tune up to start and the owner previously had put a 3 1/2 inch exhaust on with what looks like a custom weld on the manifold, I don't want that really as it is very loud now. i'm easily able to make the changes but not right now as i'm too busy so thats why i'm after a car that doesn't need anything done to be a daily driver and enjoyable on the weekends up some of the country roads.
