pics/vids of Starions at race tracks
hey that's an awesome piece of history!
1985 seems to be my year lol.. my first car was an 85 vk commodore, my stazz is an 85 model JB, and my girlfriend's an 85 model too LOL
so i love both the starions and the commodores in that clip :)
funnily enough, my commodore weighed in at almost the same as the starion :x foor door saloon with a boat anchor up front.. 2 door turbo coupe.. same weight..
i must say.. as much as i love turbos, i do miss the instantaneous power of the commy when you step on the pedal

I have a bunch of 'before/after' photos from the build up but what with work and kids etc, getting the time to sit down and put them into an order for posting up has been a bit tough.
Will make an effort to do it for those that are interested. :beer
I have some of me tearing my hair out as well, which was all part of the 'process' LOL

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

taken from oldshool.co.nz - I wasn't there and have no idea who it is but this is from the Hawkes Bay Car Club (NZ) Seafield road hill climb

"I used to be frightened by the idea of having a racing accident and not being able to wake up again. Now things are changed. I often fall asleep during a GP, but at least I have the reasonable certainty of being able to wake up, later."
