Cream Cleanser ! it's the greatest invention since those little chains that stop people stealing your pens. Brings everything up like new.

No, the simple old household stuff. It's amazing for removing rease and grime and scuff marks. The door sills came up perfect as did all the plastics and vynal I used it on. then hit with some mothers.

Here's another 'clean all' product - "Gumption". Its an old style household cleaner in a paste form. A little on a damp rag and go hit your engine bay with it and then stand back and admire the finish.

Its a little harsh so be careful just where you use it but man this stuff cleans all manner of gunk and grime.
Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

I have been told that Brass-o is another product for cleaning up the engine bay. A mate of mine used a silicon type spray on my commodore engine bay last year just to show me how he professionally details them. It looked great and the can was something from supercheap auto costing a few dollars. Simply spray on and wipe off with a clean rag and it left everything spotless and a finish on the plastic like armourall.

Soap and water! Let it sit on the stain for ages and it'll bring it out.

Alos, those wet/dry specialised hire vacuum/carpet cleaners. They do an incredible job and I got my MR2 seats and carpets stain free after 10 minutes of using.

They cleaned this festering thing:

What is the carpet on here!
