Anyone ever seen a two tone JD in dark grey/silver??

Post by JDSTAZ45 »

This aussie brochure is up for grabs on ebay for the JD, strangely seller is from the US.

I've had this brochure for a while, but it's got me thinking....I've never seen a two tone JD in the dark-grey
on silver colour scheme as appears on the front of brochure. Anyone know of or seen one ????

Checked out a silver and maroon one a week ago... sold for cheap... I missed out! Another Starion fan bought it though... so it went to a good home! Have seen the black and silver on an old post... but I though it was a JB??

2 tone silver in a JB is rare, but not as rare as a JD with that combo, i've never seen one.. but of course JD's are uber rare anyway.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

Mine was a dark grey over silver before it was resprayed black.
It was one of the very last JBs registered May 1985.

Our JD was registered a month afterwards so it is conceivable that a two tone JD in those colours was produced around the same time.
