my chime repeats itself haha
how did you guys get around installing aftermarket stereos? the chime was hardwired into the driver's side door speaker from memory, and worked great with the OEM radio/casette player but as soon as I changed to a Sony headunit the chime went all quiet and would make the sound coming out of the headunit distort on the driver's side door speaker. So I just disconnected it and ran my own wiring to the door speaker. I tried hooking up another speaker straight onto the right hand side channel of the factory wiring but it wont go now - perhaps it needs the resistance of the OEM stereo on the channel to work?
