hi and welcome to austarion!

are we talking 300hp at the flywheel or at the wheels here?

you can crack 300hp at the flywheel with this:

1) rebuild engine with gen 1 dohc 4G63 pistons, and a good graphite or metal head gasket, arp head studs from a G54B with 10mm spacers under the nuts.

2) run an EVO3 TD05H big 16G, you will need to make a new dump pipe and mod a few little things, but you can use your stock exh manifold. look on the gtpumps.com.au site for more info. also a good 3 inch mandrel system.

3) run a good aftermarket computer and a good fuel pump, and a decent sized intercooler, a stock starion factory intercooler will do the trick. you can just get away with the stock TBI setup if running a good pump and aftermarket ecu at this power level. run it at 11.5:1 AFR under full load. would be preferable to run multipoint though for reliability.

there are cheaper ways to do it than above, but you sacrifice reliability...

multipoint manifolds can be found on efi 2.4L 4G64 8 valve vans of the early 90's.

cracking 300hp at the wheels requires a bit more. more of everything. especially money.

i have an L300 manifold for sale if you decide to go that way and cant find one over there.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.
