Post by idriftnaked707 »

hi guys, im really stuck in a jam here and i was hoping someone can help me out. i have a 83 starion with the split b38 plug and i was wondering if anyone has done the twin cam swap that was using a vr4 harness and ecu? i would really just like to know how they hooked everything up to the b38 plugs to make their cars run

djpowerhaus from projectzerog is actually helping me out on my harness, but he's more familiar with the 87-89 b38, i figured i would have a better shot at finding the info i needed here since some of you guys have done the twin can swap of the flat siders.
if there is anywhere i can try to find what i need please let me know
thanks
david

Cordiapower.com forums may or may not help. twin cam conversions using the stock computers are popular in those cars.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

Yes i have too many toys.

maybe suggest you pm Merlin on this forum - he is doing a lot of work with evo ecu's and knows his way around this sort of issue pretty damn well. He would be an excellent candidate to at least get the ball rolling and no doubt would relish the opportunity to help :beer
