Stud pattern for front shock towers?
Stud pattern for front shock towers?
Can any of you guys with Starions measure up the pattern of the studs on the front shock tower and let me know what they are?
The reason I ask is, I have a Scorpion with what I believe is Starion pattern custom coilovers, but I want to make sure before I buy some adjustable camber tops.
Thanks.

How do you mean you have the suspension designed to take Starion shocks? I have Starion front struts and brakes in my sigma and the only thing i did to put it in was to change the strut tops to the sigma ones which for this model are 4 bolt.
Granted it's for the GN sigma but i'm pretty sure the size of the top of the shocks are the same diameter for the different sigma's, scorpions and starions. I may be wrong about that though and it's a lot of effort to pull apart the scorpion and sigma suspension to have a look.

Well if it came from Japan it wouldn't have left the Mitsubishi factory badged as a Sapporo :P Try searching Japanese brochures for Sapporos - you'll find nothing, yet many show up for Galant and Eterna (as posted below).
Most people refer to them as Sapporos because that's what they were called in the larger markets such as Europe and the United States, while you Aussies naturally call them Scorpions.
This is my one, a pre-facelifted Galant or Eterna:
And this is barney's one, a facelifted Galant or Eterna
These are the Galant and Eterna sedans
The euro-spec Sapporos had a distinctively different front end, take note of the bottom of the front guards and valance panel, as well as the shorter headlamps, although some euro Sapporos have the longer headlamps the facelifted Galant/Eterna/Scorpions have
All this info is taken from www.zeppan.jp and www.msapporo.com
Trust me, I know my "Sapporos" inside out :D
