tsiconquest88... you seem to be on the lookout for a narrowbody eh? maybe, instead of asking how much, offer to swap for a decent condition widebody from the states, and you'll have more luck. I'm sure plenty of people would be willing to let their narrowbody go for a widebody in it's place ;)

^^ Yeah... The bloke has made a total of 9 posts (all looking to a narrow body) and he's from the States... I'll bet my left nut (passenger side, rear) that he'll never import a Starion from here. He couldn't even work out how to convert A$ to US$, Lucky starion4me helped him out. I wonder if he has figured out that the steering wheel is on the other side... LOL

well, have you got around 10K U.S.? because thats about what it'd cost you to acquire one and get it there, thats if you can get through the red tape on your end...

I woudlnt think it would be a problem getting it through tho? what issues might the states have bringing it in?

If you are serious, you should talk to someone in the States that imports cars as a business. They will be able to help you out regarding your costs and legality issues of importing and registering a RHS car from Australia (or Japan).

Finding a car to buy is the easy part we can help you with that.

So talk to someone in the USA and let us know what you find out.

If you are serious you should be looking at the rules on your end about importing and registering cars that have been imported. Pm MainstreaM he seems to have some knowledge with what is allowed to be imported.

seriously, the UK or europe is the ONLY place you're gonna get one from, and they'll probably be rusty. and they dont come up for sale that often over there..

You could try to find a 2.0 widey in europe, but chances are it's rusty.

I have a 88 2.0 widey myself and it was rusted all over.

I did see one for sale on a local site, but find the asking price to high for the condition it's in.

If you need some help locating a starion in europe let me know, i can look around the local sites.
