it's funny.. we always want what we can't have.. down under we want 5 lug.. up there you want 4 lug..
You're forced to spend your life searching ebay, forums and yahoo japan looking for 2nd hand wheels that might fit! or $3,000 on a set of Simmons!

TradeMe (NZ alternative to eBay)TOMSUN wrote:Where do you typically find them?dirtygalant wrote:^^ I guess that's true for Australia. I find it easier to find sweet 80s jap style low offset wheels in 4x114.3mm than 5x114.3mm in NZ. The low offset 5 stud wheels seem to be the typical rubbish like chromies etc for Commonwhores and Falcoons etc.
Lucky for us (and probably the States) there are heaps of AE86s, S13 Silvias and other common 4x114.3mm RWD 'drift' cars around so there's heaps of wheels to choose from.
Got any links to examples of these wheels?
various car forums etc
a quick search on trademe brings up these:

although.. the 9 inch and 9.5 inch ones are -13 and -19 offset.. they won't fit, will they? or can you get them to fit by rolling the guards a heap?

I appreciate your offer of help, but I do have a set of wheels lined up....
Don't don't get crabby with me, I was merly originally trying to point out that you don't want to just want to switch 5 stud to a 4 stud. There are some wheel option issues associated with that path.
Oh...
If you do come across a set of 4x114.3 in
FRONT: 17x7.5 to 17x17x8.5 +6 offset
REAR: 17x8 to 17x17x9.5 +12 offset
MUST HAVE DISH... Mesh or 5 spoke.
Minimal gutter rash and no cracks or buckles for less than 25,000 yen.
Let me know :beer
Like these would have been ok...
http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r50565242
but like I said... they don't come up very often...

Not bad. Love the dish but could be a bit too common and a bit too old skool... For the "modern" Starion rofl
Geez I'm a fussy prick
