It will be a TC06-11A-8 with either a TD06 or TD05 centre bearing housing ;)
The 8 after 11A is Mitsubishi's way of categorising the housing's size, with 8 being 8cm . The higher this number, the higher the effective a/r and the more lag.

hi guys,
in new here and i have a pic of a turbo that im getting, but i dont know what type it is.
i was told it was off a starion but im not sure if its a TC05 or TC06.....
im wanting to post this pic up here but i dont know how.....
i just need somebody to hopefully tell me which one it is just be seeing the pic..
plus is it water cooled or oil cooled??

yeah, in the posting section click on the Img button, type the url on the net (you have to host the pic) and after you have the pic's address, click on the Img* button that had replaced the Img button. Simple.
Also, in QLD, Mr Turbo will re-build/ Hi-Flow your Mitsi Turbo for $800 depending on the condition. He re-does the seals, ports it out. Puts a T04 compressor wheel and exhaust wheel. He also puts in lighlend thrust bearings. Pretty good job too. Is this worth doing or would the 20G housing and wheels be the better option from the US. I have the Jap spec 2.6 Litre Turbo. I don't know what type it is, It doesn't say much.

The exterior is very similar, exept the outlet angle, sizewise...
Don´t have any H thoe...
Make sure you get a TD series core, the TC series only use a large single thrust bearing and aren't to great for spool from what Turbocare tell me.
Just to stir things up, when I did some hunting for a turbo I found that standard vr4 manuals used the TD05 14b turbo. TD04's for the automatics and the RS series received the TD05 16G (not sure if it they were big or small 16G's). Thats the jap market though.
Some tech for you:
TD05 14B - 30lb/min (single fin impeller design)
Small 16G - 34lb/min (1520 marked on the comp housing)
Big 16G - 36lb/min (1420 marked on the comp housing)
EVO III Big 16G - 42lb/min (1470 marked on the comp housing)
I used to run a 14b and thought it was a great turbo for running around in, cheap as chips too. Cost me $280, had a .59 A/R. Kicked in at 2700 rpm. Hope this is some use to you.

Especially when I was able to confirm 1470 marking on the compressor housing indicates it's the EVO 111 Big 16G. Very happy! :D
