What do u think of this wheel combination?
I bought a pair of ray wheels with then intent of putting them on the front of the car when I take it to the IWMAC dirt sprints and autocross, but they stick out too far at the front that they hit the bodywork.
So the other option I have is to fit the tyres off the rays onto a pair of the ssr rims and run a mismatched front to rear. However it looks too much like im trying too hard to be a drifter. Just wondering what other's opinions are on this.
What it normally looks like.

if you were trying too hard to be a drifter the big ones would be on the front :D
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

if you're going to race, it doesn't matter whether you look like a "wannabe drifter" or whatever.. if you win, you look good, no matter what ;)
do what you need to do to win, THEN worry about who's watching.

Bigd - The raised bonnet is there for a reason so i dont mind how that looks.
Tom - the pcd on the gsr is 5x114.3 with a low offset just like a 4 stud starion, so most pre au ford rims will fit.
thrash - i dont mind the mismatched look when im racing, the problem is i have to run that way normally if i wanted the use the advan tyres on the front.
