I bought my house down here 6 years ago and they must have resealed it 4 times... each time it gets worse and worse... I ride my road bike to work everyday and it's dodgy as hell! I agree it's the ruffest street in Chch hands down! rofl
and the city council has more emails and complaints then they can poke a stick at to!

I fully believe that the city council here wouldn't know how to lay a road properly.... most roads have so much tar and seal piled on top of old stuff that they are now real concaved! At least when I was living in Melbourne the road were silky smooth, i used to ride 90km's a day on my road bike to work and back and the road were awesome.... and you couldn't build them up up like they do here cause of the tram tracks....
I just got inspired and sent another complaint email to the council and suggested they get a new roading contractor, perhaps spend some extra coin and get them from Melbourne :P

Look at a RX7 or W5* gearbox then?
Might be expensive but well worth it in the long run :)
Especially for this car!

The RX7 wont work with the narrow block.
