Im running that caltex premium stuff cause i have a petrol card there...man...its running so much nicer and its lasting longer too
i filled up and the needle hasnt moved nearly as much as it does wen im burning around with leaded in the tank.

i was happily running leaded with no probs, everyone was saying how good unleaded was so i changed over... by the end of the tank i blew the 4th cylinder ring :( go back to leaded while you still can! i mean, it used to have lead, but now it's got a special ingrediant called 'lead replacement'!!! its gotta be good!

glad you have made the change to ULP. Only thing to consider (since you insisted on finding a downside) is that now all of our cars produce carcinogens. A Catalytic converter was required in cars that are designed to run ULP because it filters out the carcinogenic by products in the exhaust fumes. Now you know why you can be defected for not having a cat on newer cars.

I think Ill get a cat convertor, gut it, and put a straight through pipe, leaving all the 'blah blah Catylic Convertor' stickers on there.
I'll put money on most garages doing checks just looking at it, and going 'OK' never even seen a meter for checking pollution.
