The General Forum is kind of like the 'friendly forum', club meets get organised, people crack jokes, some ask general questions and people pitch in, its a mixed bag, I kinda like it.

I do not see the need to add an Off-Topic section just yet, but definately when new posts from the last day exceed one page, thats getting a bit overboard and I'd vote for a split if that was the case.

maybe just have 2 options - DONT SPLIT IT and DONT SPLIT IT ??

you need to ask yourself this, do you want to go to the effort of establishing the extra one, when it is not necessarily needed?

looks like people like the general section as is... BUT there are those that would prefer it to be a bit cleaner, with the creation of a less serious general off topic based forum... which we could make R18 as well :P My mates forum has one like that called the toilet, just contains a lot of crap really :P although that forum is a lot bigger, they need it. and we don't really :S but ill chuck an off topic forum up and c how it goes. hopefully it gets more posts then show& shine does :roll: i guess all i can say is don't check this new forum when kids are around! if its a flop, we'll just nuke it to hell!
