She's gone.......

Post by FST4RD »

Just handed the keys over on my Starion.....
Young guy has it now, I have told him about this site and to join so hope he does.... Also hope he looks after it as well.
I WILL have another Starion one day, I originally wanted a road going race car and to strip it and what have you but thought it was to good for that, so when I have the funds again I WILL have another one...
Basically I sold her so I can get on to the way to owning my own business... so if business is good then another starion won't be far behind.... either that or a clubman with a vtec motor which is my other dream car ever since my last clubman.
I'll still hang around on this site for sure!

Clubman

Post by Vulpes »

I had a Westfield Clubman too, what a great car. Way too impractical though for me. One night the wife and I took it to a Christmas party about 40min from home. It rained ! It was funny.

I traded it for a 92 Mazda familia sedan, 1600cc with towbar, all standard and enough cash to satisfy me for sure.... So i'm happy.
I want to start my own business and finish the renovations on the house, so this goes along way to doing that. Still sad though.

That must of been hard Robin but good luck with your business and future.

I'm planning on restoring a Mini when the Starions are done. Was never a huge fan but have been working on them a lot over the last couple of years and you can't help but enjoy them + finding storage is easy.

Yeah I miss my mini as much as I miss my starion, my plan is to find a shell with rego and then do a ground up rebiuld myself.... vtec it as well :)
I really want to have a road going race car so that would do nicely.

I want to do something with animals as I'm hugely passionate about animals and animal welfare, so looking initially at opening a animal day care center, there's 1 in christchurch but it's ridiculously over priced, I done some number crunching and figure I can do it ALOT cheaper... plus I work for the tax department and hate my job, but it's taught me some valuable lessons about running a business and tax.
Then I could venture out to running boarding kennels and what have you. Plus it means I can take my dog to work :)

Ah no.. hope you didn't sell it to a hoon :(

Good luck with the animal venture, that'd be pretty cool if you got it off the ground.
