WTB Head gasket *Cheap*

Hey all
Just after a brand new head gasket for the staz for when i do the valve stem seals. Nothing special, just a stock replacement will be fine.
Nothing too pricey pls

Order a durapro graphite type they aren't expensive and are readily avaliable from your preffered parts place.
#GSBH060D are around about $40

But definatley not an ACL ezyfit as 2/2 of these have failed when i've used them, they are cardboard junk, Bewarned.
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

you do know you dont need to remove the head to repalce the v/stem seals.
an attachment made witha pug socket and a compressor will help you out .

onnce the head is off you may as well tear down the motor , you are half way there
old skool jap ...........

yeah but what if the valve guides themselves are worn and need to be replaced/machined?

Same with cleaning up the valves and re-seating them - can't do that with the head off :P

Yeah want to double check condition of everything while its off so will do head gasket and timing belt at the same time.

Sounds like you are on a budget, might as well use a airhold and do the seals while the head is in teh car, If everything is good after that why bother? It only takes about an hour depending on how crappy your valve spring compressor is. Minwe is very crappy :D
