I have owned it since 2002. It was used as a daily driver without any problems up until about 2 years ago when I broke my arm and and couldn't drive it. It sat parked in the garage for months and when I could drive again the injectors, which weren't great to begin with, hardly worked at all. It has spent the entire last year at a garage in Arana Hills waiting on replacement fuel injectors. The new ones are better but not perfect. The garage was recommended as an ideal place to take it but it wasn't. 232k, Engine apparently rebuilt at 200k, Turbo is newly reconditioned only done a few hundred ks since.
The tyres are 2 years old but are virtually brand new. The spare is brand new. It has only ever been fed Shell Optimax (v-power) with the valvemaster additive and has been garaged the entire time I have owned it. The Sony tape/cd works perfectly but the cartridge is currently stuck in the stacker. Air con doesn't work (poor students can't pay for things like that)It has a dent in the driver's 3/4 panel and another smaller one in the left headlight cover. It has a tiny bit of rust on the side dent and a little in the passender door. Other than that its not perfect and it needs someone willling to look after it. It has to be sacrificed to pay for repairs to its increasingly expensive to look-after step-brother, the celica GT4 GRP A and give up its place in the garage.
