is there anyway we can let ppl post for sale stuff under a different index listing that they don’t have to register for? it seems lots of ppl sign up, post one 'for sale' and never come back. dang post sluts.

I dunno, it seems to me if I was going to buy something, I would be happier buying it from a registered user, then if something happened with the sale I could at least contact them by email address.. .also registering gives u the option to PM which is also useful in a transactional situation.
It's too easy to get a one-off email address that you can't be traced byanyway, so if someone wanted to rip you off, that wouldn't help.
I think it's fine the way it is - if someone wants to sell something, then it's no trouble to register. It also stops someone impersonating them on the site.
It should be illegal for people to whore themselves on the forum. some people should have a post limit per day applied to them.
If they go over the limit their total posts go back to 0 and they get the label 'Post Whore' and then for people that dont post for say 2 weeks or 1 months the label 'Post Slut'
