Weird problem when decelerating
I have a weird problem with the JB when decelerating: just after decelerating (e.g. when changing gears) there's a noticeable pull to the left.
The power steering system seems ok, and the brakes aren't binding. Any clues? I'm trying to avoid thinking it's the L$D.

I put a crow bar here and there around the rear cradle
and it does move around a fear bit,
so maybe we (everyone) need to find out if we can still
get the D bushes ?.
I know a guy up this way that is gonna make me some
alloy ones, so that might be the answer ay ? NOISE ??
what noise ???
Cheers: Phil.

yep was gonna say almost the same thing - the thru bolts on the rear upright where it meets the control arm, check the bolts are tight, and the bushes are ok, you get a rear steer effect from them if they're loose/flogged out.
benny, yours is more likely wheels alignment, and a caliper problem under brakes..

Bring it to the workshop, and we can chuck it on the hoist if you like.JPC wrote:Thanks for the suggestions, guys - will check out over the next couple of days.
Just give me some warning... :)
Try Noltec - they had them in stock but have been bought out by Red Ranger who are located at Gosford near Sydney. I believe they got all the moulds from Noltec. Also try Nolathene and Superpro. May be able to help.
Pedders is apparently linked to Red Ranger so that may be an avenue to try also.
Cheers
Greg

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.
