does anyone ever feel depressed after selling a car they've owned for a while?

i have less trouble with breaking off relationships i think :(

Yeah I used to own a mint as mint 1973 Mitsubishi GTO... man I stil kick myself everytime I think abot it.... Same with my wee mini clubman and my turbo MR2 although luckily i'm good friends with the owner there still...

id like to have all my old cars back. The wife thinks im weird for holding on to the ones i have now. Once you form an attachment to a car its different than a relationship because its all one way:)

Yes I know the feeling. I get that way when after owning then selling a genuine Falcon GT (to pay for divorce believe it or not) and see the prices they're fetching now. :(

Oh and a gorgeous Mustang had the same impact and yes we still have a quiet moment over Maries silver JA (GOTSOM) from time to time.

atleast you got it bad over some nice cars. i miss my 86 mitsu pickup, :D the one i really mis is my 71 ford ltd red with white convertable top, white leather interior, 351m400 v8. it was a sweet ride which im sure you guys never saw over there. it was a boat built to cruise!

this wasnt mine but it was the same year/model

my dad still regrets selling his 1935 supercharged straight eight auburn roadster in 1966 to fund his racing career. mind you, i think he realises he wouldnt have gotten as far as he did without doing it.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.
