TME stripe

Post by www.18u »

Seeing as my car needs a paint job, i thought might try something different and put the decal kit you see on the evo 6.5 tme. I have seen 2 types one with a red stripe and one without. I was thinking of the one without the red stripe as it is just grey white and black. If it looks crap i can always take it off. Let me know your thoughts :?

I'd be more inclined to go for stripes like that on the old Mitsi GTO's

I didn't want to give this idea away as I am planning on applying something simple along these lines to my widey. But what the heck you might not like it anyway:

I quite like it.
But as a suguestion, I'd have straight lines (angles) not curves on the front quarter panel. Only considering the fact that the Starion is an angular in shape.

I think it looks great, mainly as it relatively small and simple. Although, if you keep the car dark blue,
the RED may look better.

Paint it up in Pirtek colours. rofl

Seriously though, Shannon dont do it. leave it without stripes. Class 'rules' everytime for a street car
Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

My idea was just to break it up a bit. With the 18's and the silver stripe i thought it was not the top.

I can always take it off if its ugly :o I do know what your saying about a clean street car, but i will save that for when it gets painted.

I agree with the clean look but in saying that the 'pedigree': Ralliart could be mildly stated with the small front tricolour. And if it doesn't look the goods or you get tired of it - pull it off! I will definately be putting something similar on mine. Cheers Steve
