For Sale.
Brand new, Never been opened Five R Racing copper head gasket to suit 4G63 motor. Gasket is .036 of an inch thick and is not bent in any way.

Do you have to oring the block to suit.What sort of sealent would you have to use on the head gasket to stop water leaks ect.

wurth make an excellent compound called motor seal thats perfect for that application.. seals hightemps and pressures.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

Ive been told O-ringing the block is the best way to use these.

Not sure how many ways they can be installed.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)

Ive been told O-ringing the block is the best way to use these.
Yes it is, but you also have to (forgive the spelling) anneal these, which basically means to heat up to the correct temperature so it will seal correctly.

Correct, but being new they will already annealed, but correct way is to heat with oven or blow torch to dull colour 350-450C then quench in water, then spray with Peratex COPPER COAT.

Bump for a gasket you can use more than once.

This is a great price for what is essentially a new gasket.
New locally manufactured ones cost $200+.

I thought it would have sold by now with so many builds under way.
Was going on my car but i had a different copper gasket put in.

Open to offers now...
