If his conditioning program had worked though everyone would've been hailing him a legend. My 2c.

Conditioning program was the biggest joke though. He pulled the all blacks out of the super 14, no game time at all for almost a year... not cool. You need game time or you soften up, look at how many injuries we ended up with. Hope henry doesn't think that he's going to give it another shot with the conditioning program again.

Agreed. It's just a lot easier to say that with hindsight! I may be a bit biased being from Auckland but he was a pretty succesful coach for Auckland in the 90's - NPC AND Super12. I have a sneaky suspicion he's not a big fan of making mistakes twice and I see a quite imminent crushing of Australia in the Bledisloe cup
I really hope Deans can step up to international level. Both he and the european champions coach (Munster) Declan Kidney are both untested at international level and both will be coaching international teams when Ireland play Australia in the next month or so. Now THAT will be the game to watch this year!

Henry was succesful a decade ago(on the back of Hart and others) Deans always has success no matter the players he has. (look at the international players Canterbury lost over last 3 years) He also has not a bad international coaching record with Mitchell (2 or 3 games lost over 2 years)

Henry is a tosser, Wales didn't even want him. He is already making the same mistakes as last year, players are out of position in the first game.

My 2c, I should point out that for me sport is a byproduct of drinking, and this disscussion should be held in a bar.
