gauges fitted

Post by ukstariont3 »

hi all,
i bougt myself some apexi jdm gauges- they consist of water temp, oil pressure and boost. i also have an aem uego air/fuel ratio gauge.

i mounted the afr gauge in the air vent, and the gauge holder i used was from an subaru impreza- the angles etc are perfect for it to sit on top of the dash.

heres a few pics;

Very nice!
Is that a factory Subaru holder or aftermarket one?

after maket- i think it is for the gc8 model??

found out it fitted by accident as i bought the gauges with the pod, with the intention of making a custom panel where the stereo was.

but i thought i would see how it sat, and it is spot on!!
bonus!!

If your cheap like me the other thing you can do is get a nice block of wood and cut it to fit in the spot either above or below your stereo, then get a 2" hole saw bit and cut 3 holes in it. Then get 3 x 2" gauges and fit. Thats what I did in the last car. Much like the evo's have factory.
