For Sale - Rear SHP struts (and various other bits)

Post by bodeo »

Hi,

I have the following parts for sale:
- Set of rear 8 way adjustable SHP struts (used / excellent condition) $400ono (SOLD)
- K&N filter to suit starion airbox $30 (SOLD)
- 5mm deep 5 lug spacers (powder coated in black) - suit 5 hub and SHP wheel conversion on narrowbody front end. $20

I will have the following parts for sale in coming weeks:
- Set of front & rear custom springs as fitted to my car in avatar. Car handles great with this setup $300ono
- Pair of front struts with MR2 koni yellow adjustable shocks professionally fitted by GT suspension approx 1 year ago (excellent condition) $500ono

Setup handles really well well but I am converting to a custom coilover setup. Happy to sell as package.

Cheers
Troy

Yeh! :D I've been trying to work out what to do with my suspension. Might even be interested in doing both my starions.

Which of those setups you have there is the firmest? My JB is for having a go at drifting, and it did great so far, but the suspension was way too soft.
And then my JD is just used for road, and the struts are squeaking so probly nead replacing soon.

If it comes down to choosing though I'd rather do the JB for the track I think.
I probly want ya air filter too!
Where in Melbourne are you? Oh, actually I think I might know who you are.

G'day,

The custom springs are quite firm (much firmer than King and Eibach), sit nicely (height wise) and would be most suited to your drift car.

The SHP rear struts are already SOLD.

The front struts with Koni Sport inserts (which are only 18 months old) and have 8 settings (from memory), they are quite firm.

The K&N filter is in good condition and ready to use.

Send me a PM if you are interested.

Cheers

Cool, alrighty, now I must check the money department and then I'll give you a PM! :)

And thrash, yeh I do have a pretty crappy small video, and a couple of photos. Do I just post them up there in the pictures / videos area myself, or do I need to send them to someone?
Hopefully I'll get some better videos this year! Except calder raceway has temporarily closed their practise sessions :( :(

Yes, they are second gen MR2 shocks, and are the ones that are adjustable from the strut tops.
