There may already be one and I just haven't found it yet, but I am also on another forum (hemi6pack) And there is a tab you can hit to see if or what new posts have come up since last logging on. This saves you from going through each index to see if there are any new posts that you haven't seen yet.

When the icon to the left of the title of the thread turns orange, that means someone has posted since you last logged on.

on the right hand side of the main forum index there is a link that says "View posts since last visit" click on that it might be what your after :)
