if ur talking about the ones at the corners of the grille, thats a jap spec thing as they use the round side markers behind the wheel arches.

I got to drive the car yesterday on the skidpan
I have to say this is alot harder than i expected with the change from understeer to oversteer instantly. I guess it didn't help that this was my first real drive of the car and i don't know its limits but also i was upset that the widey has less steering lock than a narrow so you have to counter steer alot earlier making it a bit nerve racking coming into a corner turning the wrong direction. The water they use on the skidpan mut be so dirty because my car is completely brown in these pics. I think i was a little excited to have a rwd car again as i did about 50 circles during the day.

When we do training on the pan we add a few litres of diesel which makes it like ice so you need to have gentle imputs of steering ,power & brakes if you want to have control (.you need to be proactive not reactive )
If you are rough or unco 180's & 360's will be the result

Yeah well it was the last session before i put it on the trailer so when i saw the last lap signal i went a bit stupid roflI think the last lap might give a few clues and an answer
There is a sprinkler system running on the smooth surface and its about 3-4cm thick so you understeer very easy but the outside is a rough surface to slow you down and return some form of grip.

the nuts you mention are they tube nuts for the rear pillow tops or is there an issue with the fronts as well? I just got my Noltec front strut tops and will stick with the std rears at the moment as I can not get rears.
P.S. Any one want a brand new pair of front K-MAC strut tops for $350 let me know asap. Cheers Steve
