YES and yes! Full ralliart war paint until I sold it with the new white full coat to Stace in 1989/90? This thing was a rocket on rails and never missed a beat. I run it at Lakeside and set a new lap record at the time for production cars on a worn out set of 195 wide Yokohama A008's. It would crack 180+ through the kink on the main straight and Dean Tighe in his cosworth escort looped it trying to outbrake it into carousel. I bought the JB Fitzgerald car and so had to on sell this gem.
One little side note - I had to look after Peter Fitzgeralds group E series 5 RX7 one weekend: that thing was an absolute rocket, would kill the starion in a straight line and had a few 'rule breakers' attached. I almost wrote it off! I think back and wonder why he gave it to a speed freak 20 year old!
