Are you running the DASH ECU and throttle body or the standard Starion ECU and throttle body? Most people are running the later but sometimes you see the original DASH stuff, particularly in NZ.
High idle is usually from an incorrectly set TPS, there's a set procedure here, it's not written for the DASH engine but I used it on mine with no problems.
I've got the page from the manual that has all the diagnostics information for the DASH ECU but it's still in Japanese so unless you know someone that can translate it it's no use. See how you get on with the TPS setting anyway, that usually solves idle problems.
The diagnostics wont flash the light on the dashboard like most cars, you need to connect it up to an LED, an analog (digital wont work) voltmeter or a buzzer.

Using all the dash throttle body loom ecu and everything.Came out of an eterna..I connected it upto a circuit tester light which works off 6-12v but not sure where the other end is sposed to go to so earthed it and still nothing.I dont have the diagnostics plug that you normally have.they had to cut wires and ended up havin one wire with diagnostics written on i.Rang them up and they said you have to bridge it with another wire but they cant remember which one.Was thinking it might be thinking the cars cold all the time and trying to run like that which might explian the high idle and running rich but new sensor didnt fix that.

I gave up on my stepper motor on my DASH..... I just use the throttle cable to control the idle, I set it at about 7-800rpm and left it....

Mine turned out to be a number of things(it was running rich too)
(1)tps was out of adustment
(2)injectors were leaking
(3)water temp sender to the ecu was rooted
so mine seems to be running alright.
Check those things if you hav'nt already espeically the injectors.
good luck :D

From what I have read with most DASH motors they tend to run rich. I live with it, but mines not bad enough to fowl up the plugs...
Mine idles high sometimes, I did set the idle with the cable but I think the stepper motors poked and likes to idle as it see's fit sometimes. Might be that?
