I'd like to, but the engine and clutch are getting a bit sad. Some thrashing on a track would most likely be asking for trouble.
Hopefully later this year I'll be in a better position to join in.
I might come out for a squiz though.

Sounds like we will have a few people. Very nice. I just changed my plugs, and found that one of my leads is cracked very badly, which could be the cause of all my pains. So I will be changing the leads in a couple days, and hopefully it will be running nicely. Fingers crossed, but I am still scepticle that this is the problem. I still think its a fuel supply problem. Meaning my pump and injectors can't cope with the mods. But we will see.

Woody if you are having fuel supply problems suggest you change fuel filter .i had similar issues many moons ago & it turned out to be a partly blocked filter
p/s there is a post somewhere that has a Hyundai unit for about $35 .00 if my fading memory is right

Yeah thanks oldie, I was changing that this week as well :beer Will let you know if that was the problem. Brendan suggested it too. To be honest, I have been slack and never changed it in my time owning her. I have changed everything else but that.

Update:

Changed the plugs and the one very badly cracked lead. The Fuel filter is still being ordered. I got the Hyundai Excel filter, pretty much exactly same, but only $21, or $27 for the better branded one. Starion one was $69.

Anyways, I changed the cracked lead, and plugs, and she now runs beautifully. So she will be kicking it old school style around QR in 1 months time. :pimp :beer
