Wide body and narrow body springs
Wide body and narrow body springs
just a quick question....
Are the springs the same between the wide and narrow bodys. Im thinking of lowering the widey and wonder if king springs for a norrow will work in a widebody????
Only want to lower it 30-40mm or so.

Don't know for sure Jas. A workshop manual I have says 88 and on cars have slightly different spring specs from earlier 5 stud models.
To 87 free lengh 312.7mm outer diameter 131.8mm wire diameter 11.8
88 on 327.7mm 132.8mm 12.2
Its a Euro manual though.
You can get king springs for a Starion?

Ok, got them and they are in :Dwww.18u wrote:Pic as promised. These were ordered through Whiteline but they are actually manufactured by Dobinsons and they still have the part number on them if you need it.They are one and a half inch front and two inch rear lower than stock.
They are not kings tho. They look the same as www.18u's got above. And have Dobinson stickers on them.
They have lowered the car around an inch all round, and will know dought settle down a little more as time goes on.
