Anyone know what this bit is called, so we know what sort of bush to ask for when buying it?

Russell Coight: Some of the animals are nocturnal, so the best time to see them is at night. Only you can't see them, because it's dark.

'tis indeed the idler arm bush - get it from Pedders, part # EP2001, $12.95. They usually have them in stock. Been there, done that

...but my, what a short memory you and Ray have! Remember when we took it for a test drive, and I said the idler arm bush is stuffed? I also said there was a brand new one in its plastic packaging sitting in the back seat

Yes I remember the conversation, but I couldn't remember which part it was.
As for the bush, well that didn't come with the car so now Ray has to source another...

get sigma ones not starion ones as the sigma ones are tighter!
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

The Pedders part (EP 2001) is a urethane bush and is listed for both the Starion and the Sigma, so chances are it's pretty tight.

Bought nolathane from Repco - $14 easiest job we did all weekend and makes a massive difference to the steering - all good now
Nachoman has the Repco part number but they were the Sigma version, came with chilli sauce (I mean grease !) :D
1985 JB - owned from new.
1986 JD - used to own one.......
