The problem isn't whether it's saveable or not. The problem is that WA has such a small market for Starions. So if you were to buy it and fix it up, and then subsequently sell it, selling it to someone in WA would take a while. The alternative is to of course sell it to someone over in the east, but there seems to be MANY more Starions there, than there are here. Just look at the member list, and where those members are located. On the East side you've got MUCH more choice, and you'd probably find just as good an example over there for the same money less transport costs.

tis a shame, be good if someone there had a shitty JB they could raid the required parts from to get her back in action.. its a maroon interior car isnt it. and most of the interior is gone? is it a D60 car?

Reading the guys description, it mainly has a black interior....

Anyone who's seen Hoony's car in the flesh will vouch it really stands out!

This car would look awesome if restored...which appears to be the replica of Hoony's car! Gold exterior with black interior.
I think most of the parts could come from the ebay/US to finish off and engine stuff locally!!

Black interior is the bomb! I got black in my GSR-V, and I prior to that I had always wanted a black interior. Lucky me I guess.
Well guys, you're welcome to it. I've got enough Starions to keep me going, not to mention a certain JB that I'd like to finish soon. I don't know how soon that might be though :?

Its a JD.

They are totally different car to drive from any other Starion. (especially with D60 option)

They are about as rare as rocking horse shit.

You need any more reasons to do it :P
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

Yes i have too many toys.

I can vouch for the fact that JDs with the black interior are nice. I'd be tempted, but it's a little far away and needs too much work. I still have a list as long as my arm of things to do on mine...

If the compliance plate is in the back behind the seats then it would be a JD.

Charlie might be able to shed some light on how many JD's there were - afaik we have only found 50 or so...

Highest I have found is 51. Yes, the compliance plate will be on the back behind the seats. Someone please get it for me.
