Looks like a late model "JD" as you guys call them, 86-87...

definatley wide body's, u can see the lines over the wheel arches
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

widebody starion, not sold in australia, probably about 15-20 of them here though, all private imports. made 1986-1990.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

You can borrow my book, its just a collection of magazine acticles mainly featuring US spec 2.6 cars. It is the only Starion book though.

as a newbie on the starion scene.

its quite an interesting and vaulable read.

however some of the articles don't say year/model which makes it a bit harder. but def worth the 40 or so bucks

I'm fairly certain that car was a JE . I'll see if I can dig up some detailed pics I've got somewhere . I can't tell from the video .

Its the same as my car, 86 ex. You can tell from the worlds biggest number plate holder on the front, the wheels and the rear spoiler.

You can't tell from just that .

Are the wheels 4 stud or 5 stud ? That's how you tell if it's a JD or JE . There were other improvements but the wheel is the easiest way to instantly identify it . You can't tell from the video .
