Congrats Kit for getting 300hp mark,it good finally see someone on this forum has done it,Chris C done this 10years ago.

Not sure why your mentioning btl again. 300hp is not something worth telling your neighbours about. Look at the dyno sheet again it says 16psi. Hopes your 300hp was at 16psi also otherwise you've got some competition :wink:

Whats the record do i need to spend more my tuning guy said he can break 400hp with that engine what i don't want to do is break difs and gear boxes :D

For a SOHC 2.0 thats still around i think Troy ( Bodeo ) had made around 350hp at the wheels before.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

Yes i have too many toys.

I dont think it was a full race fuel mix, I think it was 50-50.

Could be wrong though.

We ran a 50-50 mix and it made 355whp. The limiting factor was the turbo exhaust housing and dump pipe - T3 from an RB25 machined to take a 550 roller and a high mount dump pipe.

The turbo exhaust housing and dump pipe will probably be for sale soon - Tested to 355whp for any punters :) – PM me if interested.

Chris Collier has made the 450whp mark on race fuel from a 2 litre single cam, but this is pushing the engine harder than he would a customer’s street car.

I’m happy with 300whp as a daily driver, and I guess the only reason I want more is to upset Dave :) Seriously, it will be great for the starions to have a few street cars chasing for the 400 mark. A great effort from kit to comfortably make 300.

Dave - I hear you are chasing turbo bits :) You should ask Chris what i've got planned this summer.

Yes kit you are right on the mark there,yes i have hurt my gearbox,but i got recondition one waiting to go in,i can take mine to work or at home and rebuild my box,troy i don't want hand me downs from you,as i want to be in front of you as where i am already there in my dreams. :beer
