Strange looking jigga. How many of these were made?
Wouldn't like to be buying front panels and parts after an off in that....

Well what car did they produce to homologate the group b starion?
I take it that it was a GSR V starion cause of the dash motor? Or one of the rare wide bady dash motored cars? Or did they produce some of the flat fronted starions to homologate them?
Edit i take it the group b starion was out before they had wide bodies except for daniels 85 widey?

group B car was done before the end of 83, so pre dated the widebody and GSR-V by a good couple of years. looking at it again, that white car in your pics is a narrowbody 5 stud car so i'd say its a replica of the group B 4wd, not a homologation car as the group B's were 4 stud!! probably a GSR-V. it has the right kit though. the group B was what inspired the widey starion, i'm pretty sure it was pushed for by chrysler north america when the conquest sales started dying..FST4RD wrote:Well what car did they produce to homologate the group b starion?

whats weird is how sunken in the rear wheels are.
here is mine just lowered 2 inches, and the wheel appears to stick out much farther
im almost willing to bet thats a narrow body chassis with widebody fenders, as ithe narrow body cars had a slightly shorter wheel base correct?

Wish that someone had a bolt on widebody kit like that readily available!
Looks like you could get some massive wide wheels under there though!
On a side note, wouldn't mind getting another starion to try the rally front conversion on...

that car has the exact kit that the broup B had. yes the rear arches are blistered, not widebody ones. i'd be willing to bet the doors are composite too like the group B, look around the mirrors like bender said! the mitsu japan head honcho's car is the one in the mitsubishi museum that mrbishi posted pics of a while back from his japan tripredzone wrote:group B car was done before the end of 83, so pre dated the widebody and GSR-V by a good couple of years. looking at it again, that white car in your pics is a narrowbody 5 stud car so i'd say its a replica of the group B 4wd, not a homologation car as the group B's were 4 stud!! probably a GSR-V. it has the right kit though. the group B was what inspired the widey starion, i'm pretty sure it was pushed for by chrysler north america when the conquest sales started dying..

front bumpers are different and it appears the hood is slightly longer on the white car, at least it appears so.
