Machining stock rods for floating pins??

Post by BLOFLY »

What's the best option for fitting floating gudgeon pins onto the standard rods. Has anyone had any problems honing the bush, drilling oil hole and running metal to metal on the small end. Doesn't sound like a great idea but I have read that with modern quality oils this is not a big problem. Anyone done this before?
