4 Bolt LSD *SOLD*

Post by Komeuppance »

Hey guys, my first post here, but I am a long time member on Starquestclub.com under the same user name.
http://www.starquestclub.com/forums/vie ... php?t=9008

I just picked up a 6 bolt LSD, and it will replace my 4 bolt. Seeing if you guys are interested, as I have no problem shipping internationally. It's got 120k miles, includes torque tube and axleshafts... I think that's all you guys need?? I have a complete subframe, so if you need more I can do it. Willing to work with you guys that have a hook up with shipping containers... or Air, for you crazy guys.

Welcome Komeuppance!

What sort of price did you have in mind (shipped) in AUD?
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?

Thanks, been reading some of your guys' posts for quite a while.

Oops, forgot the price... $250 AUS + shipping is what I'm after.

What is the best way to ship it to the land down under?? Get me some websites to go to and I'll get quotes.

By the way, will your torque tubes bolt up?? If so, I can lower the price cuz I bought a good condition TT for it already, and then found the 6 bolt.

Sounds good as long as freight costs don't kill it.
Not sure where to start with that tho...

Thanks, I sent him a PM.

Been doing some searching online, cheapest I've found is $280+(50 documetation fee)+ $30 insurance, and you'd have to pick it up at a local port. 4-5 weeks.

welcome Mr Uppance!

as far as i know, the axle shafts are the same as ours on the 4 bolt rear ends. the torque tube is a definite requirement though. maybe post pics sizes and spline count of yours??
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

the 83-87 are all the same axles splines on the diff side,
the LSD units have a different torque tube
LSD units have larger axle shfts (not the splines, just the shafts)
the LSD CV's have larger 4 bolt patterns.
Well, guess you'll need the torque tube. But axles are not needed.
