Im thinking of buying sum. Seem to be a good price and have the bearing in the right spot. Not like the first lot they were selling :x
So has anyone used them and are they worth buying?

Cool Thanks man. Good to know.Lunacy wrote:Jason, plenty of guys in the USA have used these, they are supposed to be pretty gd. Im looking at getting some next year as well. I have bought stuff from the seller before too, he's pretty onto it developing alot of Starquest stuff
Still no luck getting wide body wheels. And Ive given up on the widebody fenders. I might just have to go over and get some myself in a few years time :)

I've got camber plates front and rear on mine and they make a MASSIVE difference to the grip!! be warned though, to get insane grip i had the fronts set to 4.5deg neg and it scrubbed the inside of the tire bald in 4 months so on a day to day basis they're set to a more stock position. The rears however are set as negative as they go and they've been no trouble at all :D
4.5deg!! man thats a lot lol.BrendanUK wrote:I've got camber plates front and rear on mine and they make a MASSIVE difference to the grip!! be warned though, to get insane grip i had the fronts set to 4.5deg neg and it scrubbed the inside of the tire bald in 4 months so on a day to day basis they're set to a more stock position. If the tyre was "scrubbed "then u had a serious allignment problem .However if it was normal wear IE no feathering of the thread then you could have got more life out of them by reversing them on the rims But seriously what were you thinking putting 4.5 degrees on a road car  2 - 2.5 deg max
I've had mine since 03 07 92

those mk1's are pretty good. they are cusco clones.
thecno toy tuning plates come the the pivot bearing too.and a better pillow ball
http://www.technotoytuning.com/productl ... hicleid=21
here is the upper pivot

it supports the weight a bit so the pillow ball doesnt take it all
