JAS's Rebuild and twincam conversion. 302kw atw baby!!!

Post by JAS »

Hey all,

Just thought Id put sum pics of the progress I made on one of my starions.
I painted the engine bay today, only 4 months after I pulled the motor out to start work on the engine bay hehe, well thats what you get when you have more than one starion, 4 at the moment.
The pics dont show the colour very well but you'll get the idea.

Ive painted all the suspenion parts black and have aftermarket bushes for it. That will be tomorrows job. I got the week off :D

You guys in NZ are legends, all-out restorations seem almost common over your way.

Then again you've also got some really good cars with minimal kms for not a lot of dough as well...
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...

Well we try our best dude.
I guess cars are cheaper over here, so we can spend more money on doing them up.
You can buy a real tidy starion for $4000 (for an early one)to $8000 (for a late one)
