I bought a Starion radiator. I've had the core made bigger. It's now almost 1/3 bigger than the OEM one. No cooling problems at all.

well i wuz wrong, they're not npn cores, they're actually K&J cores made right here in qld.

$770 inc GST for a 53mm thick twin alloy core radiator made to same dimensions as a standard starion radiator, bolt in other than we'll leave the thermo fan mounting up to yourselves as most people wanting a rad like this will no doubt be using something like the integral twin fan setup from an AU falcon or similar.

53mm core is same as what the V8 supercars use apparently, and he said u could get a 40mm single core for $10 cheaper, which in operation apparently do 99% the job of the 53mm, and obviously give a little more room for those engine swappers out there..

he said there'd be no huge discount for a group buy, as its mostly fabricated stuff not parts he can pump out by the dozen.

what you think?
