underbody pics after grit blasting

Post by igottasicjb »

i'm about 75% of the way through grit blasting the underbody of my jb just thought i'd post some pics.

it will be painted in POR-15 silver and every bit of sealant is being replaced with POR- patch

i'm also getting all my rigid brake lines re-made at work from aircraft grade 321 annealed and polished seamless stainless dash -3 tube. Gotta love working on aircraft.

Don't think I've ever seen a straight chassis rail on one of these. Ever.

They all seem to be bent in the same place, I'm guessing from jacking them up on the rail, they're really not as thick-gauged as they seem...
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
