Thought I'do a Wednesday afternoon sprint so phoned track b 4 going was told it's fine so off I go and by the time we were sent out app 1 hour late it was raining g r 8 fun on 4 year old 3/4 worn out semi slicks :(
Managed to loop it under brakes into turn 3 with zero grip  on the 1st run
2nd run was much better with boost down to 10 psi so no wheel spin in a st line but got a couple of compliments about a drift on turn 6 into main straight :D
about 2 go out 4 a 3rd run & the heavens opened up so gave it away
Cheers

No wonder I and 3 other drivers spun out as there was an article in the local paper a few days later saying that the v8 supercar drivers were going to boycot the track for their testing as the track had been sprayed with a sealer and Paul Wheel said they couldn't get any grip and can only do 1.15 laps in a car that was capable of 10's ( in the dry )
Apparently the track had some additional treatment to restore the grip levels and the testing went ahead and they all got into the 10's
