Finally got to test my brakes at Qld Raceway( on a stinking hot day )at a test day and started to brake from 200 k's at the 200 marker and finally was able to brake at the 150 metre mark .After about 4 laps the pedal got spongy so will have to flush out the lines and reflll with Motul RBF 600 & try them again Hope to have some ducting to the front discs as well to help keep temps down as well

Sounds like great fun. I have a friend who is the state rep for Elf oils and when I was building my last track car he had a very good oil which had been tested against the popular high cost suppliers and it performed as well at about half the cost. If you are interested I could ask him for the specs and a price when I next speak with him. P.S. How was the track and which circuit did you have a run on?

Would appreciate you contacting your mate as i am always interested in new products
we were on the national (long ) track but it was difficult to see the apexes due to long grass

Do you have a cage in your car? I was told that for the national circuit you needed a full cage due to insurance regs at the time. I will contact Gavin tomorrow and let you know.

honestly switch to ferrodo ds2500 or 3000 pads. But make sure you wear a helmet the first time you test them

Ferrodo are by far the popular pick . But braking in a Starion at 200 k"s from the 150 metre mark into a closing radius tight 180 degree turn is pretty good in deed .
I'd been wondering about the Redstuff for a long time but nobody would give them a go as the Greenstuff have a less than perfect reputation .

Rad , I can't remember , do you have Skyline brakes on the front or still Starion ones ?
