My Sexy Beast ! GSR-III

Post by rodney007 »

brought off another member on the forums, (who also brought from another member)

now its near %100 mint, after fixing wat i thought was a turbo problem (alot of smoke) and tidying up.

now has:

full manual conversion
L200 flywheel (machined) new spigy bearing
heavy duty L200 clutch plate (exedy)
VR4 intercooler
modded airbox
blow off valve
exhuast leaks fixed,
new steering wheel and adapter
lowered springs

getting the seats re-packed and leathered with black carpet ,
also metalic black paint job ,

this engine is feeling prolly the best it has in about 20 years +
and now is alot faster than before, which is quite cool to feel,
was extremely limited on its potential on stock setup, these small engine mods done alot,

Hey, looking good. You've done a fair bit to it since I owned it. Good to see the engine potential is being realised with the manual gbox conversion and intercooler.
Personally, I think it would be a shame to paint it black. The original red colour is such a nice colour and I think Starions look better in red.

Cheers,

Mike.

Mate, I think the carpeted seats might get a bit itchy during summer! :D
