GSR-V is jap import (obviously)
180kmh speedo
Dash 12v head
auxiliary injector
5 studs on wheel hubs
MMC badges
More power stock (149kw/200hp)
lots of sounds to remind you that you've left the lights on, have key in ignition, that you're in a car...

Think of it as a JD, but with a different head on the motor, if you want to oversimplify things :)

Silo. Looks great, just one question, will there be a problem with roadworthy regarding major rim width increase which also affects track width?

They are sexy, and if I could have found some I would've bought them. the closest I found was a set of Simmons 17x8/17x9 but they were WAY too expensive.
My ones are 17x7.5 and the offset is pos20mm, so there's not really much of an issue with regards to track.

That red car is gonna be fantastic when completed.
Who ever thought flares on a Starion could look so good? :)

Other things I can think of are;
180kmh speedo...... 9K tacho!
Climate control
Side protection moulds instead of turbo stickers
3.55 LSD as standard. Not all JD's had LSD's!!
And these babies had a body kit available from the dealer! :D

And back to your 17's.... nice aggressive looking rims!! :beer
Imports.

mine doesn't have climate control or an LSD as standard. Wasn't it a 3.9 LSD?

Well, I'm buggerred if I know what Mitsu do with there models. They seem to make up things as they go along.....

I've noticed a 86/87 auto narrowbody without the Dash head and 4 studs :? It's called a GSR II or III??

I haven't checked but my LSD feels like a 3.55 ratio. I think 3.9's are for the ULP 8valve motors to compensate for the loss of KW's

Should be able to tell the difference between 3.9 and 3.55 when driving them.
Love the 3.9, All Starions should have had them.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

Yes i have too many toys.
