Well, it's been a while but I have my twin cam back home and running. Drove down from Dave's workshop without any dramas except for the thermo fans not working. :?
So after the first tune at 7 psi we were rewarded with 202hp at the wheels. Plenty more boost to come mind you. :D
Will have some pics up during the week after rego is completed, and further updates after the engine is run in properly.
Update on whats inside,
twin cam 4g63
T04 with 50mm external gate
3in stainless exhaust all the way through,
microtech mt8
HKS EVC5
Davies Craig EWP
Bosch Porsche 600hp fuel pump.
AEM regulator
rx7 550cc injectors
koni shocks and eibach lowered springs
Thanks to Redzone for all his efforts for the past 2 years on this project, many custom parts and fitments with that lot of stuff.

awesome keen to see pics indeed :D
wideblock or narrow?
if narrow what gearbox?
any reason for the 550 rx7 injectors over the easy evo upgrades?

narrowblock, GE scorpion 2LT box, modified to run a canter clutch slave on the drivers side of the box

do your self a favour , toss the rx injectors , stick to the 510 yellows or if you can find red tops get them , get a fuel reg and squeese the hell out of them , these little babys can sqirt like a porn star

Got the engine with inlet manifold only, so had to put everything in bit by bit and the rx7's seemed cheap enough at the time. I guess if i did it again i would just get new ones cause after cleaning and flowing them they are about the same price.

same as above but wont the rx7 injectors go hard with more pressure via the AEM regulator as well.
Once the engineers plate and the rego are on i'll have some pics and detaild, i'm sure Dave can fill you in on the technical issues along the way.

just to clarify, when the car came to me, it had been done rather half assed by *insert GC shop name here* and *insert another GC shop name here*, it was almost to start up stage then but they hadnt got a flywheel that worked with the starter and the recessed firewall was done by half a tupperware container :?
so my job involved lots of rework of dodgy shit done elsewhere.. like remounting the engine and gearbox, swapping over shifter mechanism, mounting clutch slave etc etc. the RX7 injectors will be fine, have other cars running around with em, no dramas, making good power and no where near runnning out of flow..

rx 7 injectors are cheap and work ok
but weredesighned for rotors and large ports , spray a wider spray pattern not well suited for t/cam heads , evos have tiny ports and yello tops were made for them .
rx7 units are ok as stated , but are no comparison to the yellow tops .
yep they will pump more but the spray wont be great , they create a flooding action
there is nothing worse than fixing some one elses work ,
were to start, what to do . and so on
it seems you have a task ahead of you redzone , good luck

where did you source that turbo manifold from?

by redzone
that and the intercooler piping, intake manifold mods etc were done by a shop on the gold coast.. it is custom. i'll be making 3 or more similar manifolds early next year
