Drag Result from Oct6
1st run out, bogged down majorly at start and also had a couple of early gear changes - around 6k 1-2 and 6k 2-3, around 6.5k 3-4. Cutout is at 6.75k!
2nd run was a joke with a 2.2sec 60 ft but then major misfire issues left me backing right off and running over the line for an 18sec pass at 92kph. Gave her another crack but misfiring was worse so gave up!
If only I could have had a clean second crack at it!

Definately need some better tires to get out of the hole. Nice trap speed. That should easily be in the mid 13s. I ran a 13.69@100.9mph on a widebody and a 2.0760ft so that thing should be in the low 13s? Are you running lsd?

Yeah was on street tyres with an LSD. Plenty of potential with the start for better times, track had more grip than I expected and I was trying to avoid getting massive wheelspin which is why I bogged down at the start (no wheelspin).quest wrote:Solid setup... should be hella capable with more seat time
Street tires ? what boost ? dyno it ?
noticed a pronounced gain with that cam ? Adj gear ? Vsprings ?
Any pics of underhood ?
Hasn't been dynoed yet, running around 18psi with standard cam gear. The valve springs were new and I think they may have been tighter than factory, but cannot say for sure. Got them when I got the new cam - it made heaps of difference, much more kick up the mid and top end, turbo helped that too though! Will try and get a pic up soon.

Correct on the air/oil separator, it has a hose that drains back to the sump. She was a bad bog down, I could have nearly run the first 60' quicker than my car wentredzone wrote:thats one hell of a bog down! and quest that cylinder looking thing appears to be an oil/air seperator of sorts...
My second crack wasn't too bad initially but then she started acting like a bitch, misfiring like there was no tomorrow
