I got this Starion at the beginning of the year and have been tidying it up since then. It had quite a number of "issues" which I've pretty much got sorted now. I also replaced the TC05 turbo with a TC06 since that was easier/cheaper than getting the TC05 rebuilt, which it needed.
It's an Automatic, which is not what I wanted, but it still drives nicely and is great around town. The colour is red but the sunlight makes it look orange in some shots.

I'll try and get some better photos as well as interior and engine bay shots in the future.

Man I love those 6 slot wheels or kidneys or jelly beans
I was looking for jelly beans for the widie
(looks over shoulder) (nobody behind me with a gun LOL)
but I think I would be eating sh-t from the Stazza-boyz
if I done that.

Looks aright on your car cheers`

Surprisingly, those wheels look quite okay.

At least they're not blingity, and I'm not up for Bling. Bling equals blaugh IMO.

Thanks for sharing your GSR-III pics.

Did you change the colour of the B pillar vents?

Yeah, I quite like the wheels myself. Nothing wrong with a bit of dish on an 80's car. They look better than the original Starion JA wheels I think. They're actually made by Performance Wheels (Aust) and are called Spitfires. They were on the car when I bought it so I don't know where the previous owner got them from.

The car used to have the flat JA pillar vents but I put these new ones on myself. They were painted black when I got them and I think they look OK that way. Maybe one day I'll get around to painting them red.

Being a GSR-III, it's got a VELNAS too. Can't say I miss not having headlight squirters though :)

I was the owner before the previous owner and yes I got the mags from New Lynn. By the way MisJiF I still have the other front shock here for you. If you want to drop me an e-mail I will arrange to get it to you. As for the parcel shelf you must have picked up the burgundy one from my Starion when you picked up the other bits from Evan.

Sweet car man, nice and tidy. The black b-pillars look good the with the red c-pillars. Loving the wheels also, they suit it.

looks like it rolled out of the show room from that interior mate...love it.

Its interesting to see the later model tail lights on your GSR, when i bought my III it had the earlier JA style lights on it...
